Forest therapy in Estonia

In the Baltic Countries, the food is great and on every breakfast buffet you encounter you will almost certainly find pickled herrings.  They are delicious when paired with onion, potato and sour cream!  

When I asked a native of Estonia what constitutes good mental health in the Baltic countries they replied: “We go to the forest, that is our therapy.  The forests here are all state owned so we can go anywhere and forage or pick berries.  We go to the forest to reconnect with nature, particularly if we are feeling sick”.
